Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to the following responsibilities:

You must provide complete, accurate, and current information for your project requirements

Timely Feedback

Provide timely feedback and approvals to avoid project delays

Provide necessary content, images, and resources in a timely manner

Make payments according to agreed-upon schedule and terms

Payment Terms

Pricing Structure

  • Fixed Price: For well-defined projects with clear scope and deliverables
  • Hourly Rate: For consulting, ongoing support, and flexible scope projects
  • Retainer: For long-term maintenance and support services

Payment Schedule

  • 50% Advance: Due upon project commencement
  • 25% Milestone: Due at project midpoint or major milestone
  • 25% Completion: Due upon project delivery and final approval

Important Note:

All prices are quoted in USD and Ethiopian Birr (ETB). Payment methods include bank transfer, mobile money, and international payment platforms. Additional fees may apply for international transactions.

Intellectual Property Rights

My Rights

I retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in:

  • Pre-existing code, libraries, and tools used in your project
  • Custom frameworks and methodologies developed by me
  • Website content and marketing materials

Client Rights

Upon full payment, you receive ownership of:

  • Custom code specifically developed for your project
  • Final design assets and deliverables
  • Project documentation and source code

Project Timeline and Delivery

Timeline Estimates

Project timelines are estimates based on:

  • Project scope and complexity
  • Timely client feedback and approvals
  • Availability of required resources

Timeline Adjustments:

Delays caused by client-side factors (late feedback, content delays, scope changes) may extend project timelines and incur additional costs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • My liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question
  • I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • I am not responsible for third-party service interruptions or failures
  • Warranties are limited to those explicitly stated in the project agreement

In no event shall my total liability exceed the amount paid for the services provided.

Termination of Services

Client Termination

You may terminate services with:

  • 14 days written notice for ongoing projects
  • Payment for all work completed up to termination date
  • No refunds for work already completed or delivered

My Termination Rights

I may terminate services if:

  • Payment terms are not met
  • Project requirements become unfeasible or unethical
  • Communication becomes uncooperative or hostile

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, and if necessary, through appropriate legal channels in Dire Dawa, Ethiopia.
